The Post 8 Program
American Legion Baseball enjoys a reputation as one of the most successful youth baseball organizations in the country. Today, the program registers teams in all 50 states plus Canada. Each year young people, ages 13 to 19, participate. Since its inception in 1925, the program has had millions of players, including countless who have gone on to play in college and professional baseball.

With a national alumni base that includes more than half of the current Major League Baseball players, American Legion Baseball is one of the most prominent and tradition-rich amateur baseball programs in existence.

Our Season
In Central Kentucky, our game season begins in early June after the high school season concludes. We do have practices, workouts and events throughout the year. The competitive season concludes in late July with postseason play finishing in August.
We play against other Legion post teams and on occasion will travel to participate in invitational tournaments during select weekends.
